    st150 flywheel

    Hi,

    We are currently converting a pinto to a duratec in my type 7,i have got hold of a st150 flywheel and i was hoping to fit the pinto clutch and plate i:e drill the st flywheel, is there a reason no one else has done this.

    assuming its a type 9 gearbox, there is no need.. there is a clutch kit that has the correct splines, for a type 9, that fits the st flywheel
    i just went into the local motor factors, and they found one of the shelf for me

    yep it's a type 9 gearbox.
    do you know what car it was for originally, also do the fingers meet up to the thrust bearing ok.

    we will be using the cable operated bellhousing.

    sorry have looked though my note, and i never wrote that down.....
    mine is the hydraulic bell housing, so didnt look at that
    may still have the box it came in in the workshop... will look in the morning
