    Derek's MK1 front end rebuild

This is the first time I have taken my car to someone I didn't personally know, however after contacting some forum members you had work done by South West Restos they came back very positive. It's approximately 14 hours round trip to drop the car off so it was a decision that had a lot of thought put into it. Just as I thought the job got bigger and more involved requiring more time and panels. James was understanding off this and knew the result I was looking for and done a deal with the labour. The end result is really pleasing and I'm grateful and relieved he managed to save the wings. Top bloke, top job. Thanks.

i really wish i had someone like yourself that lived near me to get me motivated and finish up this project of mine.i have a buddy that does street rods and also builds guitars for a living.well actually he is 65 years old and pretty much just does the guitars anymore just to keep himself busy after his wife passed last year.he is a fantastic metal fabricator aswell but is always busy with his latest project an early thirty's willy's streetrod with a hemi.i just seem to have no motivation any more.anyways a great job done m8.

    Derek's MK1 front end rebuild

Progress has been much slower than I hoped but work and family life come first. The shell has now been sand blasted, a couple of bits needing attention around the rear tubs not overall I'm happy it's nothing major. Paintshop bound in the next couple of weeks.ImageUploadedByTapatalk1375005802.041567.jpgImageUploadedByTapatalk1375005816.934928.jpg
