Good afternoon,

A serial lurker on here, but I would appreciate some advice. We're trial mounting our 2.25-litre Lifeline Fire Extinguisher, race battery, line-lock and hydraulic handbrake in to the 1300 Sport (Mk2 Escort) tomorrow, and I would appreciate the advice from those who run any of these in their race/rally cars. Pictures would be wonderful.

2.25-litre Lifeline Fire Extinguisher kit - Where is best to mount this? In front of the passenger seat, or, behind either the driver or passenger seat?
Race Battery - Where do you run these? My current thought is to put one in a custom bracket beneath the passenger side of the dash.
Line-lock - Are these traditionally run on the left- or right-hand side of the driver? My knowledge of drag racing is minimal so I would appreciate views on this.
Hydraulic Handbrake - We're running a standard tunnel in our Escort so what is the best way to mount a Hydraulic Handbrake? We're going to be running a Rally Design unit.

To summarise, I guess what we're really looking for are pictures of how people have done theirs as I've trawled through a lot of build threads, but would like to know if anyone has any tips, or, regrets we can learn from.

Thanks in advance,

James
