    Zetec powered Sunbeam

Picked up a a talbot sunbeam up for a friend of mine from Leeds last sunday ex rally car.

This has been partly restored and was going to be fitted with an all steel Zetec, it is a TI car and comes with loads of parts and the engine, Full Tony Law exhaust and manifold system and a pukka registration as well.

Marco is on the site and will update as the thread gets going .

Martin, I think Marco has about 5 of them. Cornered the market I think.

Yep, they were all mine. I actually had two more shells as well at the time, and a unit full of bits. I uesd to sell cars and bits as a bit of a sideline to fund my rallying, I called myself Moonbase Motorsport..........don't ask.

The cars, well, the Blue one nearest is my rally car that at the time had a 250bhp Red top in it, later to have the M3 engine in. The Lotus, is a Lotus, The yellow and white cars came from Ireland, the white one is a rolling shell, and the yellow one had an all steel, dry sumped 1700 Cross flow in it, I broke her up but regretted doing so. The "Cadburys" blue was another mint rolling shell, and the Light blue, closest on the top pic, was a Trio with a 2lt Pinto in it. I wish I owned them all now......................

Always had a soft spot for Sunbeams , ever since seeing a stunning dark blue car with light blue centred revolution 4 spokes , running a lairy pinto at the Pod back in the late 80's

Reg No: made me look twice. RAC 134W was given to Des O'Dell on a Lotus Sunbeam after the 1,3,4 finnish and getting the world championship. Last time I saw that car was 2003 at Castle Comb Rally day. Your Reg is so close....
