Harness eye bolts
I'm currently in the process of building a Mk1 Cortina into a trackday car but want to build it to FIA spec in case I do any sprints or hillclimbs in the future.
I'm unsure of how to fix he harness eye bolts to the floor. To me it would seem logical to mount the fixing plates to the underside of the floor and tack weld in place but I don't know if this is correct.
Any help and advice would be greatly appreciated.

Re: Harness eye bolts
you just buy the proper mounting points to put under the floor

Re: Harness eye bolts
Thanks for the info, do they need to be welded in place?

Re: Harness eye bolts
if they are tight, so the eyelet doesnt rotate they dont need to be welded to the floor
