I have a mk1 escort with a 260bhp Honda s2000 engine in and 6 speed box, is as brand new, atlas axle, group 4 shell, AP brakes, power steering, is just being MSA log booked, It is around £26k. i know a bit more than you said but the car is mint and as new.

look absaloutly awsome mate though is a bit outa my price range, ive also got a mk1 rally car i'm building and wanted just too buy a mk2 to finish the set so i can take my time with the mk1.

He's within an hour of the ferry as well so not too far to come.....plenty to choose from !!
an hour from ferry is ideal, some of the prices are a little high in my eyes for there spec, prob as there kinda retail a bit like buying any car private i surpose, hopefully can make a deal, i'[m keeping an open mind at the min there are lots of cars that have been for sale for ages, its def a buyers market right now, if anyone see's any others let me know.
maybe i'l go to ireland tommorow
not sure the blue ones a new build looks like a freshened up one, but does have a fully floating axle and a dog box looks decent spec and i could add too it later, will need new seats though, ive emailed for more pics but he hasn't sent me them yet

Anyone know a car driven by Gareth Watkins it's a mk2 steel pinto car with west Wales rally on it , used to be there's I think and is apparently a dave brooks engine , it's in Wales though so is a fair treck at 8 hours. Any info appreciated and also if anyone is in Wales and fancies a look for me

I was gona be a forest man (real men play in the woods, so I was once told) but i'm now a little scared to take it in there its toooooo good!!!! will see how it goes, its 5 linked at the rear end and has billy's all round (i'm told tarmac shocks) has a 4.6 twin half shafts grp1 axle motorsport lsd, and a 5 sp tranx, ive got some gravel/forest setup shocks/struts on my rolling shell mk II So can set it up for both

was a local car, managed too get the price down enough to buy a spare axle lol!! so ended up going for it, as the car had been known to someone who verified the condition of the car, could have bought a car and ended up spending thousands putting it right so paid a little over the odds but def got a good car
