    My first classic Ford! :O)

Hi guys! thought id chuck a quick message on here to introduce myself, Based in North london and my name is Paul. I Bought my mk1 escort bk in April last year, its a bit unique compared to usual mk1's its running 4x4 Cosworth running gear with a Yb. I was a little unfortunate with it after few months of ownership the engine gave way, car has been off the road for 8mths untill now, i bought a ready built up engine which Joe Stevens Built in Essex and had it fitted,
I had my first outing in the car to the classic ford show which was great and the car was faultless with no leaks etc.

Its currently running light blues, t3 hybrid, left hand shaft with billet compressor wheel, a1 rally sport 400 chip, bd14 inlet cam standard exhaust cam with pocketed pistons, ported head, studded 200 block. once run in il fit my t34 turbo back on and sort the boost out.

anyhow heres some pictures of the car.

    Engine

Engine fitted just needed all the bits putting back on

    Hope u like the car.

    Paul

That's a great looking car, looks like a very good conversion!

The wheel choice often lets these down but that looks spot on

Im using a stock cossie intercooler but will run meth if i choose to use huge amounts of boost its mounted behind the top grill , 4x4 sierra alloy rad mounted at an angle with slimline fans which clear the alternator belt by half an inch, bit of a squeeze but looks well.
