So, after considerable time, and after attempting a few different brake master cylinders, my son and I finally mounted the brake master we are going to use last night. I made an aluminium adapter plate at work so we could convert the mounting from vertical to horizontal. It seems to fit well, and it looks like a small modification to the actuation rod will hopefully attach it to the pedal.

Got a new head lining made and fitted. A top job by the upholsterers we use at work. Well happy.

Cheers! The colour is straight tinter, so is what all oranges are made from it - as I understand it. I think that's what the painter said ha ha

got my car back the other day, will catch up at leadfoot and then next week have a catch up on the cars
So, after a bit of a spell not doing much I finally mounted the fuel tank. Are they supposed to be difficult to get in ha ha. Even threw a new fuel filler rubber in there
Here's the view from the outside. Love the original style caps - even if they're not exactly theft proof

Am just deciding which way will be the best to route the fuel line - any suggestions gratefully accepted.
Was thinking of mounting my electric fuel pump inside the chassis rail, and running a larger hose from the bottom of the tank through a fuel filter and then decreasing the fuel line size through to the carbs. Dont know if this is the ideal way to do it - I'd prefer to mount the pump below the tank, but theres not enough room for it and a filter I dont think.
Opinions?

How about mounting the fuel pump and filter under the boot floor on a cradle? That's how I've done it.
