    Is the galaxy 2.3 the same as the ranger 2.3 ?

    nope, galaxy is an i4 and the ranger is a duratec, iirc

    The Duratec engine has always been referred to as Duratec HE I4.
    So am a bit confused, according to the Galaxy Wiki, it does use a Duratec

    The current shape Galaxy (CD340) 2006 to 2013 takes the Duratec HE in 2.0l 145ps manual, 2.3 160ps Auto and 2.0l 200ps Auto Eco boost
