    notchy gearchange Borg Warner T5

can anybodya give me some ideas what i can do to imrove the notchy gearchange on a T5?

    what i have done:

i changed the oil, out came somethin dark, brand "Royal Purple performance oils", in a very thin ATF type from "Fuchs"
    result: gearchange even more notchy

i also changed the gearstick: out came a unknown quickshift, in came a new quickshift fom RalCo / US

the gearchange is now more precise (from gear to gear), but during changing the gear you need a lot of pressure until the gear engages and during shifting you can really feel the gear-wheels engaging. far away from beeing a smooth and quick gearchange.

reverse goes in ok, sometimes i need to shift into 4th or 5th before the reverse goes in smoothly.

as i was informed the box came from a sierra, now its coupled to a Rover V8. clutch is hydraulik and freshly bled.

maybe i shouldnt compare my "old" 4 speed ford box, where shifting is like a dream...very easy and smooth?
