Re: 1999 r1 £2195
I had one exactly the same as this, lovely bikes and great for wheelies too. Prices are on the up for early R1's apparently.

Re: 1999 r1 £2195
Yep proper old skool sportsbike... everyone was horrified when I cut the fairings to fit the renthals...but it makes it a brilliant all round bke that can be ridden in town like a scooter.
Open to any sensible offers
Cheers

Re: 1999 r1 £2195
How much for the tricker or xt thing in the background?...
-
Re: 1999 r1 £2195
The Tricker was a friends bike that is now sold...it actual sold for more than I would take for the R1!.

Re: 1999 r1 £2195
Bike prices are bizarre...in 2011 I sold an r1 on a w plate for 1880 quid to the triads from Sheffield...well they was Chinese anyway...think at the time if you wanted a fs1e you would have paid 2500 or more...
In about 2006 I struggled to get 750 quid for a tdr 250,last year I got myself another one for 1800 quid I think it was,a year down the road and anything good is knocking on for 3 grand?...
I was almost thinking at the the the time I should have hung to the r1 for a few years in event that they go the same way as 350 Lcs in value but I wasn't overly attached to it,shit to ride in town, couldn't carry many tools on it and on when not in town it seemed to keep doing 130 in a 60 a bit too often..
Anyway don't drop the price on that r1 its much much nicer cleaner than the thing I had,not a rusty bolt on it anywhere is there?
