    Atlas axle tubing

Anyone got any info on this? I bought all the parts to make a fully floater last year at the auto sport show from Grp4 Fabs. Before I phone them up. Does anyone know of a guide, or any pictures of separating the tubes from the pigs head?

Yeah just drill the two bige plug welds out with a 25mm/1" hole saw cut the tubes and get a big fooking press to push them out unless you want to kepp the tubes.

Great stuff. Will take to this, this week. On a side note: What width axle is going to give me the best wheel options for an untubbed. forest arched escort. I want as wide wheels as I can get in there which I think is 9".

Just finishing machining my axle tubes ready to refit. I've decided on a 50" width. does the diff cap need to be central or is it the driveshaft flange? My flange is A good inch offset to the rear casing

just make the sure the tubes stick out of the axle case the same amount, the pinion is offset in the casing.

    Re: Atlas axle tubing

Hi. I did it on Friday. I cut a thin tube about 5mm from the head, at horizontal milling machine I made bigger holes (59.85) and original weld which holds thin tube went easily away with small click. Thick tube I slid after freezing to -18 (max of my freezer) and pig´s head to +300. Just your wife will not be lucky to have thick tube in freezer together with chickens, meat etc. for a few hours. But in the end there the tube suffered no injury between food...
