    RWD understeer

Just wondering if anyone can shed any light..?

We were out on the centenary stages this weekend just gone... The car felt alot better on the back end, (not so drifty as before) but we seemed to be struggling with understeer/pushing on, mainly on the long corners (90s and HP's). It seemed pretty good if we eased off and turned or even turned on the brakes. Soon as I touched the throttle it wanted to go straight!

I'm thinking it could be down to the diff being to tight as its all new!?

the preload was 85ft lbs when I built the diff, I have checked it again today and its 65ft ft lbs.

    any ideas?

    cheers

What are the ramp angles of the diff? Maybe it is going to locked quickly.
