850cc injectors,port and polished 4x4 head 139mm with bd14 exhaust and new bd16+ inlet cams with vernier adjustable cam wheels ,double valve springs and new one piece valves and new hydraulic lifters fitted with new stem seals and valve guides


Fresh built engine with 200 block ,bottom end 6 long studded and machine faced by julian godfrey and fitted with wrc 4 layer victor reinze head gasket ,new cosworth pistons .5 with valve cutouts and standard grind crank with new h section rods arp bolts throughout new helix ceramic 6 paddle race clutch fitted,hydraulic clutch conversion


Custom professionaly made massive 78mm core intercooler into hart type airtec plenum onto matched to head inlet


Tax exempt group 4 spec shell 6 linked rear end
Fostek built atlas axle with two piece 18t quaife 2 piece shafts,3.75 lsd
Coil over suspension all round gaz adjustable shocks on rear
Willwood calipers and red pads up front cosworth disc rear

Full safety devices roll cage with new cobra monaco pro bucket seats and safety harnesses with fully working smiths gauges for boost,temp,electronic speedo,rev counter,batt,clock,oil pressure,innovate afr mtx gauge,led shift light,custom made carpets and rear seat fitted,custom made carbon door cards and rear panels with alloy winders and openers fitted,comes with a metal bonnet and a grp carbon wrapped bonnet with scoop and raisers


Alloy fuel tank in boot with alloy swirl pot high pressure red top facet ,044 and filter setup with battery also in box in boot


This car is as solid as you can get and is painted inside and out even underneath and drives spot on with no nocks or bangs ,car was ran in osfdc for 3 rounds 9 runs in total with old engine that was a 205 block with no issues! The new engine only has the cam cover and sump bowl from old engine used ,block machined at julian godfrey,all ballancing done at graham goodes by alistor,complete gaskets acl race bearings throughout all supplied by graham goodes inc genuine cosworth oil pump

Just had dyno setup at leicester street racers after being ran in ,cam timing set to standard and 2 bar boost on high setting 1.5 bar on low setting more power if you wanted it but i asked for 480 bhp so 486 was close enough with 500 nm torque and just shy of 400bhp at the wheels

Yes it's a shame Chris put a lot of time into it,but you need a official licence to bid and a registered certificate for destruction order,ie to prove that it will be crushed after it's been stripped for parts,so unless your a licensed breaker you won't be able to buy it

Iv registered with them as a private person and not a company to bid on this escort as my brother works at a insurance breakers and anyone can buy a car B car and break it all it is the DVLA will require Notification of Destruction after you have stripped it but you can get this from any main scrap yard when you give them the shell to crush and in some cases iv seen ( and my friend has got one) a cat B come back on the road if they have been re shelled to a shell as it was when it left the car manufacturers Ie Ford escort Mk1 shell

£10k lol the money was in the shell all the group 4 work etc the engine and box n axle aint worth paying £10k for all you will be left with is a couple of seats some old coil overs that i was going to replace before i sold it the brakes exhaust and some lights but hey if you want to buy stuff like that ive got most of that lying around bring £9k n you got a deal saves you breaking a car and by the way If you intend to buy a Cat B vehicle you must provide us with proof of an up to date Waste Management Licence and an EA ATF registration number. As it states on there website
