Duratec & RS 2000 Clutch from Pinto & Type 9 Gearbox?

Hi, I'm fitting a new Duratec engine into my kit car along with a Type 9 Gearbox. Can I use a RS 2000 clutch in this mix do you know?

I'm running this setup, so its working in my car. I have flywheel and bellhousing from Retroford.

you mount only the RS 2000 disc? standard disc(200hp)? pinto mace or duratec?

On my pinto I'm running a basic uprated ap single plate diaphragm clutch at 200bhp and more torque than a duratec, works fine. For ref, car is 960kgs. Clutch from Burton.

Pinto clutch will be fine then. As a matter of interest I found out that the Saab 900-9000 pressure plate is the same as the AP uprated one as used in Caterham R500's on type 9's
Friction plate is the 23 tooth Pinto one though

The AP clutch plate for Titan or Raceline 8.5" steel flywheel has the following part number on it:
LC 03 JR 003B
As mentioned I believe it is from a Saab 900 or 9000, a bit of Googling said it was the same as this Borg&Beck HK9251 or LuK 622034900

Pictures of the old one here, the new one I got for £120 from Raceline had the same part number LC 03 JR 003B but it also had the AP part number CP5905-500 stamped on it

I use a helix clutch plate and covet rated for more power torque than the AP one.

I have just test and is not good to me. The disc is good but the clutch is 5mm smaller. Anyone know if there are two measures of clutch?

I think you are using the wrong part number, it should be the 003B on the 001A

Hi dragging this one back up I need to order a few bits from raceline so am going with there flywheel
can we confirm that https://www.amazon.co.uk/LuK-6220349.../dp/B00BARLJXY is the same as the r500 clutch pressure plate?
