Plenum removed to show more corrosion and holes, Now these can be patched up but this car aint a patchwork quilt... new panels ordered old ones going on ebay...

Panels arrived today..... Happy happy happy...! just need a new plenum panel and were off...

Ah well I still have a kidney left...Waiting on the plenum panel now should be ready to fit thursday... I hope

New Plenum has arrived / inner wings seam welded / corrosion eliminated with new panels... still waiting on the new radiator / intercooler from Radtec
its held up at the powder coaters hopefully it will arrive monday...

Stitch one pearl one reinstating parts that were left off / botched by the previous builder... also Group 4 stitch welding everything for strength..

Bob at SwanAVO is cracking on with the legacy the previous owner left me with this immaculately painted 99% hahem... complete car..
reverse engineering in full flow..all rust or thin sections surgically removed ... can anyone inform me if Im putting 15" wheels on this car
will I need to change the concave recessed infill wheel section inside the wheel arch to bulkhead to accommodate the larger wheel?

Top job you are doing there, its a long and winding road full of surprises at every corner. I have been there done it and wear the tee shirt with pride. It looks like you have found all the surprises now that the shell was hiding. The next bit is the best bit as it gets better every day, the spend is the only hurdle now.
Keep up the good work, its going to be a cracker.

Near side inner wing attached, new plenum prepared, and water bottle holder attached.. No sign of the Radiator from RadTec yet..? but Ill wait till 5pm before I start getting grumpy...Grrrr Cheers Paul & Bob Swan though at Swan AVO for the excellent work to date...

More holes being filled...Modifying the front Radiator mount to accept the RadTec Intercooler and Radiator... RadTec say it needs "Little" modification
to accept the Rad but I think their definition of "Little" is different to mine..

Yeah 5yrs in the making.... stalling due to Ups n downs of life... but the car is going great guns now, I have an excellent Garage "Swan AVO" helping me out with expertise, proffesionalism great eye for detail
