IMG_2002.jpgIMG_2003.jpgIMG_2004.jpgIMG_2005.jpgGearlever in the right position beading will look the part when its painted and add the extra strength into the panel..

IMG_2046.jpgIMG_2047.jpgIMG_2048.jpgIMG_2049.jpgexhaust tunnel marked out, let the cutting begin
IMG_2056.jpgIMG_2057.jpgIMG_2059.jpg

Coming along nicely
IMG_2073.jpgIMG_2074.jpgIMG_2076.jpgIMG_2077.jpgIMG_2078.jpgIMG_2079.jpgIMG_2084.jpgIMG_2085.jpgIMG_2086.jpgIMG_2087.jpg
Exhaust tunnel finished to accommodate a stainless 2 1/2" system might have to buy some heat reflective material to go on the tunnel.
can anyone recommend any???? PLEASE....
I'm not hating here mate ... BUT if the cars YB powered it isn't going to be getting used for rallying so why the need for a maaaaasive sump guard :/ just masses of extra weight isnt it??
John, I get your point but its only going to be used for the odd track day/ fair weather road use however where I live theres hundreds of speed bumps in every other street so I'd rather cope with the extra aluminium weight to protect my investment in the engine..
IMG_2091.jpgIMG_2092.jpg
stone guard arrived today, what a great quality product im well impressed with it ...
IMG_2110.jpgIMG_2111.jpg
more holes to be filled in
holes will be replaced with new sheet steel...IMG_2107.jpg
arches marked up to be re profiled, to take away the blind woodcutter look lol I want this car done right..!!
IMG_2117.jpg boxing in the tops of the rear turrets
IMG_2128.jpgIMG_2129.jpgIMG_2130.jpg
Mocking up the exhaust system going with one oval back box side entry so its easier to angle towards the tunnel
It will be a full stainless system though..
Wouldn't trust that plenum, anembo make billet ones , car looks ace coming on well
IMG_2133.jpgIMG_2134.jpgIMG_2137.jpgIMG_2142.jpg
BOB'S almost finished with the fabrication side of things Hillman IMP sidelights fitted...hopefully the Stainless exhaust will arrive Friday to dry fit, Car needs a torch test to check for unwanted holes.. but could be ready for paint in a week I hope
Don't know how much , give Greg a call at anembo engineering , he will sort ya, he's sold a fair few
Here another pic
