Plumbing in the heater - C20XE
Hi, the back of the head on my XE has been blanked and the is no room behind it to fit a heater pipe, but i would still like to run a heater? Anybody have any ideas on what the best way to plumb it in is without using the outlet at the back of the head?
Thanks,
Luke

Plumbing in the heater - C20XE
I have a plan in mind for mine but I'm not sure it will work. I was going to fit a pipe with two outlets under the inlet manifold and plumb them both into the heater.
The only issue with my plan is that the pipes may just cause an air lock in the matrix because they r so close at the point they r both teed in.

I'm running a standard inlet and my 1 plan was too take a feed from the bottom of the inlet and the other from the bottom radiator hose, but I'm also unsure if this will work?

I would take it from the inlet and behind the thermostat housing if possible so the waters nice and hot.

take one line off the inlet manifold and T into the pipe coming out of the bottom of the block, you then jut run then into the heater matrix.
very easy
