Looks like good fun! What power/engines are you guys running? I really want to grt into drifting/drift days but i don't think my engine will rev hard enough/have enough power. The lump i have will rev to 6k and has 190bhp and 200ft/lbs of torque is that enough?
Yeah bud that should be fine. Matt is running the XE his is about same power as your maybe bit less. He dose well as you can see. It just about practice bud this time last year I couldn't drift for shit.
Got another mate with a 100e with a mild pinto in it he dose well too.
Tidy thats good to know! What tyres do you guys use on the front and back? I have seen people using 48s on the front And plastic fantastics on the rear.
I use so old 175/60/13 track tyres on front and nankangs on the rear think there 185/5013.
And to be honest if your doing a drift day or a demo your best off having new tyres I used some part warns at come and did three pairs in five laps it's false economy really. Was paying £5 per part warn £25 for a new tyre that I know I good do a good 8-10 laps on.
