generally considered a fast road/mild competition profile, probably to wild to work well with a turbo

This cam doesn't really fall under a stage. Like Graham said fast road/mild competition area, so if you were comparing against say Newmans 'staging system' then it would be a ph4(ish) in the cvh world

I use to use these all the time and run at 115 deg, they made 230hp on low comp them run out of fuel with the mfi system so were drop to 220 hp and diddnt hang about brilliant cam and run smooth

    Re: piper 285 cam

I use to fit these in the day , use to set them to the right spec but nearly always use to so a cam swing for best results. I think
from memory it was something like 3-5 degrees advanced on the cam for best results and always use to see around 10-18hp
gain on a healthy motor runing around 12-14.7 psi.....
