Hi how can i find out what colour my escort mk1 was when it was built? its had 4 registered colour changes on the vehicle check, i can only read the chassis number, can it be found from this? thanks

simplest is probably take a look at some otherwise hidden part of the car, i.e up behind the dash, fuel tank, or under carpet somewhere.

it vin number wont tell you but the vin plate does iirc
