Hi,
in the 80's Richter Kassel in Germany was a main Ford RS dealer/tuner. For engine-work they joined forces with Hurricane Racing Engines from Haarlem, Holland. In their 1989 parts-catalogue they printed 15 power plots of a Pinto engine in various stages of tuning.
Legenda:
- Cylinderhead 60194 : flowed with std or 44/28 mm valves and skimmed by 0.5 mm
- Cylinderhead 60083 : ported and polished, combustion chamber changed, skimmed by 1.0 mm
- Cams: HR822 = Kent FR22 ; H8274 = Crane P274 ; SRK = Erson 134 ; HGP81 = GP1 ; HRC81 = RC1 .
Please note: cam spec can be different to todays, for instance the old RC1 was a 354 degree cam with 11.75 mm lift and a massive 138 degree overlap!
Regards, Leon.
