My Marlboro RD350

One I am rebuilding,
nearly finished now.
the paint is even brighter in the flesh.

Those pipes are made in the Czech Rebublic by Jim Lomas.

They are sold here by Stan Stephens, and Scorpion,

But if you go direct to Jim they are half price.

They are Stainless steel with carbon cans, feels like they weigh about 4lbs each, make a sound like tearing calico, bloody lovely.

I really don't know, as normal

How much did you pay for yours, and what was it like when you got it.

Its probably worth more for spare, as its a complete bike except for the aftermarket faring.

I'll post some pictures tomorrow, I had to get it out to get to the Mexico today, so I'll have some pictures of both then.

A few pics from today.

Note the after market fairing, it is a full fairing.

Re: My Marlboro RD350

That takes me all the way back to 1985, when I bought my RD350 YPVS F1, that was a D reg as well, I collected it new on the 1st of August, and by the 3rd I'd crashed it on Southend seafront ! Owwwwwwwwwwww
Fixed it the week after and kept it for 4 years before getting an RGV250 ( managed not to crash that straight away )
I've got a 2001 CBR1100 SuperBlackbird an '82 350lc (project)and a '94 NTV650 ( daily driver, never gets washed, looks like shite !).
Isn't it strange how MK2's and Bikes seem to go together ?

If you mean my one, I have offered it to Mark (2quick4u) so he has first offer at £300.

Its done 21,000 miles, got standard exhaust and microns, its a complete bike, just needs new tyres and battery and a little TLC to be on the road again.

Thanks for all the interest in my RD350, but its now gone and I've got space in my garage again, so I will now start on the Mexico.

Hope it stops crying for you Clint.

Re: My Marlboro RD350

im 28 now but when i was 16 the quickest thing i had ridden was me mt5 with a 65 kit,
me best mate had a early ypvs with the big round headlight
and a stan the man stage 2 tune,
thinking i was john kochinski i got on it for a blatt and gave it a big handfull in second and before i knew what hit me it was on the back wheel leaning over at 45 degrees and i couldnt back off due to being thrown back but somehow i stayed on
god only knows ,
needless to say taught me a lesson or three
so ill always have a soft spot for elsiegundo
