Hello all, was recommended this site at the weekend so signed up and thought I'd introduce myself.

My name's Anth and I'm a graphic designer/artist from the North East.

Sold this back end of last year:



And bought this:



"Why?" you may ask. We were moving house and needed the cash, and the move meant I finally got my own garage, in which the Olds wouldn't fit. I've had loads of Mk2s over the years and I've wanted an estate for yonks, and this one came up, so I bought it.

Turns out it needs a fair bit of work (looks great from 20' away but under the bonnet......urrrrghhhhh), so I'll be starting a build thread shortly.

Thanks for the welcomes chaps. Plan at the moment is to sort the grot out, standard kit like round headlamps, quarter bumpers, Mexico spoiler, smooth it out a bit. I have considered a diesel conversion so it's a bit more useable (and quicker than the 1300) but that's a way off yet.
