stage1 cossie or m3 ??

Please settle this sad little argument a m8 is tryin t have with me,

Hes just bought (or got on finance!!) a M3 (Non evo) on a L plate and says its a cossie eater!! With mine in bits im on the look for a m8 to wipe his ass!! ive told him time and time again the only cossie he will beat in his german scum machine is a standard Cossie and that wont be easy!! Am i rite or am i wrong "A good Stage 1 2wd or 4x4 cossie will take the piss outta a M3" ??

M3's are bitching quick, they don't have the turbo lag so the power comes straight in. They also have a six speed box so the gearings better. I'd say it would be pretty close standard vs standard, but a good stage should take an M3 out especially 40 upwards.
