Hello new member
Followed the link off duncans site and found this nice little board. I own a mk2 escort, which is currently undoing rebuild, and i need a little help with a few little things.
I am hoping to drop the engine and box in this weekend
Does anyone know how to wire MK2 rs2000 clocks into a standard mk2 loom?
I have asked everywhere but noone know!!
Thx for any help

Hello and welcome to Turbosport.
It is a long time since I have shanged a set of MK2 clocks to RS ones, but I think they just plug in and the wiring is the same except you will need a wire from the coil - side to the rev counter (the connection should be obvious if you trace the wires from the multiplugs you will see the missing space)
Also you need to add a oil pressure pipe.
Hope thats right, if not let me know and I will check a loom for you.

Re: Hello new member
You should be able to get battery cable from your local motoring factor? (Wilco or Partco)??
As for the wiring I havent a clue I'm afraid but it should be fairly straight forward!

Re: Hello new member
The wiring is in a different order, when I swapped the clocks in my Harrier for the RS type I cut the wires to the plugs and swapped them around, you can work it out by comparing the tracks on the pcb on the back of the clocks and swapping the wires to suit.
Good Luck
