Hi,going dry sump, so need the housing that bolts to the block , with 2 outlets on it. Is there anyone in the uk that does them? I can find pics on the net but no supplyers. I am using retro ford engine mounts so pretty tight for space!
Cheers

You only need one port to pump the oil in to the engine
I have these plates being cast , so will have some in shock as soon as they come in
Dunnell version works well

Very soon mate as I need some for stock
I will look to see if I do have one still mate
just thought i say Lacey is gentleman to deal with. its a pity everyone not like him
Lacey, do you have these in stock now? Please post a picture if possible. Thanks!
I can email you over a pic mate that's not a problem just pm me your email address
Attachment 70109I can provide an oil filer mount with oil cooler inlet & outlet ports plus 2 gauge/sender ports.
e mail jrprmc1@bigpond.com for details.
Now that is probably the best oil filter housing ive seen. If I need to go oil cooler with my r500 spec engine later in year ill def be after this.
That looks really nice, would it clear a retroford lowered crossmember? How much Aud are they? Cheers.
www.gulfpetrolheads.com
Yes.
The cooler hoses easily clear over the top of the OE standard X member, so should be heaps clear of a lowered one.(all my Duratec parts, engine mounts, dry-sump kit, water outlet, bell-housing are designed to fit the OE X member with the 48mm thick Pinto engine mounts; no body or chassis mods required)
Price is AUD $135 + P&P
Cheers.
Nice, can you work out the postage to the UK please.
Thanks Roger, looking at dobuys picture and yours it doesn't look at first glance like it would fit - I'm looking at the distance from the left hand bolts to the filter plate, its less on yours than the dunnel one which just fits. I guess I should have said engine mounts rather than crossmember, sorry for any confusion.
In that case my vertical filter type would probably clear OK.(see pics 2/6/2014 above)
With my horizontal filter type, I don't think there is much in it; Its filter plate is in the true centre of the 4 bolt pattern, very close to the Dunnell one, but difference is mine has a smaller ID seal face, which will take the smallest diameter filters available, and would clear your engine mount bolt.
I have also just finished a further improvement to enable fitting a (huge) VDO type pressure sender pointing towards the rear.
Pity you didn't use my sump and engine mounts in the first place it would have saved you all the trouble of having to change X member, steering, chassis mounting, etc etc ! LOL
For Eric, I will get the postage to UK and advise.
Cheers.
Thanks Durescort, is the price the same? Glad I could make you laugh :-)!
Hi guys bit off topic but I have a pace dry sump system ready to go on mine but the pump fits the inlet side I would really like it on the exhaust side. I've found pictures of them fitted that side but can't find anywhere that sells a fitting kit?
Anybody else you them that side?
Pace do the kit for both sides give them a call
If that don't work them send me a pm and I will see if
I can get you sorted mate
Vertical type is a bit dearer because it is a bit trickier to machine and is AUS$195 + $20 to NZ.
I will take an 'as installed' pic. and try to attach it later.
Email me on jrprmc1@bigpond.com so we can exchange info.
Roger.
do you mean 'for engines with external pumps' ?, as per both pics ?.
A bit more clarification: The pictures show my dry-sump system which uses external scavenge pump but still uses the OE internal pressure pump (a la Corvette) It's simpler, cheaper and more compact that way.
Roger.
But can you use it with a external pace dry sump system
I have a oil in plate on the shelf mate
You would need a remote filter head
Which I also have
Cheers
