They are good cams, a few of my mates with S2's have them. I have just had a kent cam in my S1 ( Ahmed Bajoo profiles ), pulls really well from 2800 right upto limiter. ( Bob murray who built my engine recommended it ).

I've started to hear more and more about ahmeds cams. How good are they, and are they readily available?. Or did you have to get him or SCS to fit it?.

    Re: Piper cams

Like I have said, it was the guy who built my engine's idea to use the Ahmed cam. He works at Automotive Unlimited in Elsenam, Essex. ( Cossie Specialist ). He fitted it, and i have had no bother with it at all. Pulls really well, ( even though I am still only running 6psi ).
The cam is profiled to get the most out of ahmed's Stage 1 chip for the RST. ( which will be fitted to mine soon.)

As far as I am aware they are readily available, but seeing as I had a rebuild at the time of fitting I cant say when it arrived. I am sure that you dont have to get it fitted by a specialist. Just fit it like any other cam. the same as you do with Piper cams .

Ok, I've got ahmeds stg 1 and have changed the cam in mine previously but only for a standard one.

Does anyone know how the piper cams and bayjoo cams compare?.
