    Quaife

What an excellent company! I purchased front + rear ATB diff's for my cossie, and even though Demon Tweeks fcuked up and sent me the wrong rear diff (without flanges, even after they phoned Quaife to make sure!), I took the complete diff to Quaife direct, and they sorted it out there and then, replacing the diff AND fitting it into my casing, only charging for the flanges! I will deal with them directly in the future! Well impressed

Glad you had a good experience with Quaife.

My m8 Smiffy (Cossie Mk1 Escort) has been waiting for 4 months for a pair of GP4 halfshafts for a Atlas Axle, every time he rings them they give him some more bullsh!t and say they will be ready in 2 weeks.
He is fed up waiting now and looking elsewhere.

Wes, you have 4wd cossie then or?

How does it handle with the new diffs then?

Toppy they got loads of gearboxes and gearkits.
    £3215 for 6 spd gearbox with 5th 1:1 and 6th overdrive.
Dont know if that would fit the cosworth though, you could
    always get their mk2 6-speed for £8675

Toppy, they do a 6 speed sequential for the 2wd's, £4950.00 + VAT, oh and add £350 for the bellhousing + £360 for the digital gear position indicator! Still, least it's not as bad as if you've got a 4x4 (£9450+ the other stuff!!!!) The mk2 6speed seqential is a transaxle (used in ultima's + the like), if I ever build a car that needs a transaxle i'll definately get that box!

Yes i've got a 4x4 Andreas, I don't know about the effects of the new diffs yet, i'm still waiting for my engine to come back, i've only just fitted the rear diff, can't do the front until the engine is back
