Identifying cossie Ecu's

I was checking the ecu on my 3Door last night. The cars modified and I wanted to find out if there were any mismatches in the parts before I rebuild her.

The ecu had a serial number as follows:
W45.06/L20-67
...is this an L6??

The reason I want to check is that the chip inside says:
HFJ2+ L6
403 AB
17-8-99
...hand written on a sticker.

The L6 on the chip made me want to check that it does infact have an L6 ecu. The only other bit that makes sense is the 403 bit as it ran greys. Can anyone else help with the other bits? Maybe an origin?? I'd like to say Ahmed as it says AB on it but I couldn't be sure. Any help mucho apreciado.

Yes m8 its a Level 6 (.06) bit, the chip is from Ahmed and will be for greys with a 3 bar and its nearly 3 years old

Does it sit on a daughter board if so the first bit probably relates to the Pectel board.

lol yeah I spotted the date

. Does that date make it prior to AB sorting the borewash problem?? (ie is it of any importance)

It's not on a daughter board, it sits in an area where a lot of old resin has been scrapped away (probably old chip security sealer). There was a T4 and BD14's on this engine maybe the HF stands for high flow or something, who should I contact (if anybody can help) to find out about what the map is for (ie compression, boost, cams etc)..or is it going to be a case of getting a new one regardless? SCS maybe?

The above is more of a question about whether your doing the chip programming (as thats close to my field/interest) rather than trying to cut anyone out of the equation.
