While I have the engine in bits is it worth lowering the compresion?? what ya reckon peeps ?

It would be worth checking the cr and depending on what sort of power you are running make sure it has the correct cr to suit.
I like 330HP engine around 7.6 to 7.8:1 and 400HP 7.4:1 anything above that 7.2:1
If the bore is standard I have some very good 4x4 pistons that are low comped £80

Don't lower the compression ratio unless you have to.
It's not a performance enhancement, it's a necessity on high power engines.
