    Mk1 Capri Suspension issue

My mk1 capri is sitting low on rear nearside, I have recently changed the front end for new coilovers and inserts which are adjusted to the same hight. The rear end has new single leaf and bushes and the car is sitting on level ground. It had this problem before the new kit was fitted but the problem wasn't always there. I have checked all mounting points which seem solid. Only thing i haven't checked is rear shocks, could these be to blame? I haven't measured front springs either to check they are the same length but they should be as they are new! HEEELLLLPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPP!!!! IS THERE SOMETHING IM MISSING

Slacken the rear shackles, bounce the rear vigorously and tighten them back up. Might help.
New springs take a while to settle and singles are quite horrid!

No rear arch repairs, looking at it from behind you can see it isnt right. Just going to take a load of measurements and see if I can find something wrong.

Remember that all the leaf spring bolts should only be tightened once the car is on flat ground not while it's up in the air on stands etc. Tightening them up while still in the air causes the springs to be "wound-up".

As Dave has said loosen them off - but leave them loose for a few days/week while your car is stood still (obviously don't drive it with them loose!!). Give them time to settle and see if it makes a difference.
