Re: Mk1 Capri Suspension issue
You say you had this problem before you changed just front suspension or rear adwell?

Re: Mk1 Capri Suspension issue
Slacken the rear shackles, bounce the rear vigorously and tighten them back up. Might help.
New springs take a while to settle and singles are quite horrid!

Re: Mk1 Capri Suspension issue
No rear arch repairs, looking at it from behind you can see it isnt right. Just going to take a load of measurements and see if I can find something wrong.

Re: Mk1 Capri Suspension issue
Remember that all the leaf spring bolts should only be tightened once the car is on flat ground not while it's up in the air on stands etc. Tightening them up while still in the air causes the springs to be "wound-up".
As Dave has said loosen them off - but leave them loose for a few days/week while your car is stood still (obviously don't drive it with them loose!!). Give them time to settle and see if it makes a difference.
