Mines chipped and has power boost valve and some headwork so far have seen 149 on the clock and is a cossie eater ( ha ha ha should get u lot going )

The 149 you mention is that:
How many times it has been stolen?
How many rust patches - new arches it has had?
How many times it has spun out on a bend or roundabout for no reason?
How many times the engine mangement light has come on?

I had one great motas. You can get the standard chip reprogramed to 250 bhp with out any mods to the engine.The engines are so detuned .

there is no way a standard 16v astra runs 250bhp with just a chip

u can make 200bhp by swapping to throttle bodies and custom ecu etc but thats 2k worth of kit
to get 250bhp headwork needs to be done and rev limit raised and some crazy cams.

mines had some headwork and a chip amongst other things and will beat big lees car

Mines done 135k and smokes less than Lee's car.

Sadly in a straight line I can only draw with him, but if I removed the sack of cement from the boot I'm sure I would win!

theres a place that does race engines and they do it to ther race cars. The vauxhall 16v is so detuned that it chockes its self.

mine hits the rev limiter in 5th

went out on sun and overtook 16 cars and only pulled in once hit the rev limiter in 2nd 3rd and 4th it was just about to rev out in 5 and the engine started firing on 3 cylinders, i blew the head gaskit it was in the paper on sun a guy came to look at it last night and bought it for £250 ( and he know what was wrong with it ) a result i think
