What would be the best front brake pads to use for fast road use.
I am using M16 spaced calipers with capri discs on the front and Cossie rear discs on my Mk1 escort with bias pedal box and no servo's, I was wondering what would be the best compound pads to use on the front as I have the bias wound towards the front but they are average at best. Something more aggressive but doesn't need as much pedal.

Ferodo DS3000 will do the job but you will need to warm the pads up. (left foot on brake-pedal for the first mile or so)

Theres a few choices ive heard of

then theres this guys view which I don't doubt , so, ill be ordering a set soon ...
well i think i have fell into about every trap going, the best brakes i ever had was on a RS2000 with a servo years ago but in recent times and recent cars the servo has been chucked to make space and i have had shit brakes until this last car. three of them had M16 ,s and various pads either race or go faster type, last two had massive AP,s with race compounds that were ace on the track but awful on the road until hot. but lo and behold my present car has M16,s with spacers, vented disc,s and fast road pads from RACE at stoke on trent and they will put you through the screen.no servo.
