Oh baby...... Carbon parts are starting to trickle in

mmmmmm... Boot & bonnet arrived today. Also put on a small diffuser under the rear. Wings will be here on Monday. CBradley Motorsport is working on a set of Reigers for me at the moment. Hoping to have them in a few weeks. Can't wait !!!
once the suspension is done she's off to the body shop to have the panels painted & installed. They'll be painted with a clear coat that's been tinted with black paint. It'll look black until you're within a few feet, should look cool.

Just when you think things are going your way a simple side skirt removal turns into a spinning nutsert nightmare !!
Removed skirts, spoiler & mirrors. All getting done in carbon.
Also, this baby arrived from Tillett.

    Hmmmmm...

    More carbon.

I have a list of varius forum cars in my head that I would love to see in the flesh, my 'if only I could visit' sort of thing...

If I ever get back to San Fran, please take me for a drive....

    It just keeps getting better.

    Cheers guys....
Shaun, no problem. If you're in San Fran we'll definitely go for a spin !

Got these pictures today, parts should arrive in a couple of days.
She's going to the body shop next week to have the carbon doors, bonnet and boot painted and installed.

Also decided I couldn't risk not having a backup key ☺

Finally got around to doing the side skirts.
Found out last week that Reiger put Subaru stub axles on my shocks, F me anyway...... They had to be sent back from Ireland to Reiger to be cut off & done over.... The wait time is killing me.

The Reiger suspension finally arrived ! God damn it’s some beautiful stuff. It’ll be a shame to mount it in the car.
Also, the carbon parts have started to go on for a trial fitment before paint…. Loving how it looks so far. They’re feather weight compared to the steel doors.

Did you previously weigh the car prior to the carbon?

Didn't actually weight it before but I am weighting individual components as they are removed & comparing that way.
I will be weighing it once complete & corner balanced.

In Ireland, my 1st one was an 84 silver over black. I couldn't give it away either. Red over black, couldn't give it away, silver over gray - had a line of people to buy it.
Wish I kept all of them !! The prices have gotten out of control.....

Finally got around to doing something with the suspension.
Had the rear Reiger mounts welded in along with a strut brace. Made a start on the control arms and front shocks today.
