Don't know about that model, but my old Alpine was class, it survided being dropped down the stairs, getting wet and going rusty and would probably still work now, 13 years later.

What do you want to know mate? Alpines have alwasy looked great (i own a couple) but they always run so damn hot, often making the cd untouchable if you eject it after a long + loud listen. I much prefer and now always recommend from experience Kenwoods as they are nearly as good to look at and the sound quality is just as good.

Re: Alpine opinions on these bits

If the bloke still has them next weekend i shall be going to get them, 100 + my head unit (pioneer deh6300r)
which i think is a good deal.

I had a Alpine single CD head unit a few years ago and dont think anything i have had since has sounded as good.

The one above is a commander head unit (it has no slot or anything for CD`s/tapes) looks nice and i reckon i can get the changer in the glove box

Furry muff Sounds like an ok deal, I don't know how much the commander goes for but the cd multiplays are never cheap as they use the ai net.

How old is it? Is the owner a known source, have you seen it running? Why is he selling/swopping?

Sorry, went into car purchaser mode there!
