Look forward to seeing more pictures. What was the reason for changing to LHD? I'll read the whole thread when I have time.

What does the car weigh? Just being boring working out power to weigh ratio etc. I guess its quick 0-60!?

Water pump looks black to me still Its the thermostat housing thats silver
And he changed it to left hand drive so that he could run a side exit exhaust and maybe to keep a bit of weight over the n/s wheel when launcing hard at the drag strip

Hi kev nah m8 it looks like its an xtra cover or something over where it would say DOHC 16V TURBO and is held on by the cam cover bolts. Perhaps its a secrect puddy mod for an extra 20 BHP!!!!!

I cant see anything else, other than a Bailey turbo damper and the centre of the cam cover cut out

    Got the downpipe back...........

Now fitted with 2 x bungs for oxygen sensors, 1 for me

permanently and the other for when IKE maps the DTA

So we can compare how accurate the 'innovate' set up is

to his proper bit of kit.

The outer plenum was originally modded for a front mounted throttle body many years ago for mikes awsome orange arched mk2 back in the 90's by ike, some how I ended up with it.
And then my mate who is doing the i/c
modifications at the moment did the rest of it recently, putting in a 14mm spacer, welding on the new larger throttle body mount, smoothing that out and then welding the whole lot together on a flowed set of runners.

Got the tina back on wedneday evening , intercooler all

done apart from a bit of paint so I put it back together

with my pace rad and w/injection fittings today...

Then went up the lock up and bolted it all back in along

with the downpipe and rad hoses and turbo side boost

    hoses.............

Then inlet was just hung on to check it all fits ok, now

back off to swap back to green injectors and fit up the als

    extra air valve .

awesome just wondering, why have yoo not got an external wastegate? will it improve your engine if you had one? and is that an original 500 i/cooler?

I was thinking of going with a GT35 / external waste gate,

but that would have meant even more fabrication to get

the same results basically as my T4 already fitted.

    Proper 500 i/c
