good news ,Darran is moving it down my works tomorrow

    (friday) for me.

should now start making some progress, probably gonna

mount the fuel pumps, all 3 of em ,and the swirlpot.

gotta run the extra fuel line and fit all the new bulkhead

connections and braided fittings,to begin with, can't wait!

Garage scene mostly for the last 7 years!

suspension is set very stiff ,600lb fronts,400lb rear

    springs for track use

gonna soften up the rear end and maybe change the 4 link

geometry for more drag racing bias.

    cheers ,puddy

Re: cossied mk 2 lotus cortina

getting down to the real nitty gritty now!

Ground down old welds ,cut out unwanted plates and

redundant roll cage tubing, and now angle grinding with a wire

brush attachment, the flloor pans inside, what a crappy job!

Having a nitrous bottle mount custom made at the mo ,should

be welded in next week, along with a dash bar to better

    support the steering column.

Also got a brand new corbeau race seat with ally side mounts

to go in before it gets painted by darran and mark, although

they've gotta do some fab work to the tunnel before that,

as i chopped half of it out!
