    small hole top mount choices?

ive looked at sooo many different ones, does anybody have pic of what left the factory, rs2000 mk2 small hole mounts look like?

and what are my options of fitting new ones? do u get roller bearing rubber type mounts? i hear the solid alloy type are too harsh for road use.

Std small top mounts were all the same - look at any std escort.

Alloy top mounts will be harsher than std or the original RBTM's that ford used as both have a rubber part. Having said that, many do use alloy ones on the road.

I am sure I have read somewhere of people using mk7 escort top mounts with an adapter sleeve on small hole escorts.

You don't get small hole rubber RBTM's, only alloy.

i used Corsa B alloy eccentric top mounts for camber adjustment on my small hole RS2000. i found that they were pretty harsh on the road so i bought some nitrile oil resistant black rubber from ebay about 5 or 8mm thick and made a big gasket to sit between the body and the top mount and it made a huge difference, far better in my opinion.

You can buy alloy small home eccentric mounts, why use corsa ones?
