Anyone running an R.E.D S2000 drysump setup?

I was wondering if anyone has the R.E.D sump setup and if theirs has what I would class as a miss alignment of the two lower bellhousing bolts? Or do I have a different gearbox?

Cast iron bellhousing have the 2 lower bolts in a different position as the one in the RS sump. No idea which bellhousing you are using and what the sump was made for.

I think we have are wires crossed, I am talking about the Honda S2000 setup .The S2000 box is all aluminium and doesn't have a removable bell housing.

I use the RED dry sump on my s2000 engine and gearbox however I didn't fit it so I can't really help you.

How much of a misalignment is there?

Sorry, I was reading RS2000 instead of S2000. As far as I know all S2000 block are the same. At least, the one I had I my shop.

I'll take a picture tonight and see if yours is the same as my one.

I am running this set up, the lower gearbox threaded holes are not used with the RED dry sump.
What dry sump pump do you have and oil tank?

I don't know which dry sump pump I have it came with the engine, as far as I am aware it came from R.E.D . I haven't got a tank for it yet, so many to choose from.

Pace pump (by the way the spacers are on the wrong side)
Those bolts on the gearbox are not meant to line up with the dry sump pan.
Do not use a pace dry sump tank as it doesn't have a deaerator built in and it will loose around 2 litre of oil in approx ten minutes.
Look at my build thread (cyco escort) for the blanks required in the water pump and thermostat housings.

I'll have a look at the spacers tonight. I have had a look at your car build a few times over the last year or so (fantastic car by the way), I have had a look just now but couldn't spot the thermostat blanks . Any chance you can remember the page number? Thanks for the info.

Cyco I have found the page but I am going to be running a heater, not that I know what pipes I'll be using yet.
