    Rear Shocks

    On my MK1....
I have lowered the suspension quite a bit....

    I now need shorter shocks.

Questions are what/ where do I get them from.

When U turret a car in the rear are u guys using the same shocks. I notice some of the diff brackets, for them, fit on the front/rear of housing whilst others fit on top of diff housing.

Would u not use a shorter shock for this style ?

    Any ideas help appreciated.

    Thanks

I don't know which dampers from another car would fit a really low Escort - Leda would certainly make some specially - but they would be REALLY expensive.
As to Turreted dampers - the short square turrets can use a standard Mk2 style (pin and eye) damper, but the taller round turrets (the top of which are nearly level with the parcel shelf) use a longer damper or a complete coil over unit.
