wouldn't say it's that good, i get cranks ground for 36quid +vat or 30 quid if i pay cash.
as for bearing prices etc, look what they cost in the burtons catalogue and you should be able to get them for no more than two-thirds of what they want
Don't ever go to Gosnays Engineering in london, they will tell you your expensive steel crank is bent and good for scrap, then they'll charge you loads for the privilege then you (luckily) take it for a second opinion somewhere you trust and find out it's fine.
i get all my work done at gosnays thay are very clever thay have been there 4 something like 70 years or more do work 4 lots of companys up and down the country
Cheers,i better shop around then !wouldn't say it's that good, i get cranks ground for 36quid +vat or 30 quid if i pay cash.

likewise, can get stuff done local like reboring done for around £30. Agree with Scrote about Burtons prices
Its probably a good price if they can grind to fine tolerences, I only use one place for my grinding as they grind to my exact dimemsions unlike a lot of other firms I have tried, I get charged £60 just for the grind and shells for a xflow are probably £30 so £90 is fine I would say.
