Not really. these things are incredibly fast. I've only ever seen a few, but nothing with a 3.5cc engine, thats ridiculous!!!The 1/8th scale stuff I was looking at only used 2cc ones.
I saw a 1/5th scale Mclaren F1 with a fourstroke motor once. To be honest it looked so fast that controlling it was a bit of a problem. It could cover a hundred yards in the blink of an eye!

hard to tell but that engine is it a pull start, I still say it wont do it in 1.5 secs however my mate has one and they are the quickest Ive ever seen. They are 21 sized engines

well yes, an actual acurate figure is maybe a little difficultbut they are bloody quick
It aint m8! these engines run on 25% nitro and give 2.7 hp.Not dissin anyone but I think the 0-60 in 1.5 secs is a bit exagerated

So thats 2.7 hp to shift just over 2 KG and with 4wd and foam tyres theres no traction problem....imagine a car weighing 220kg with 270bhp and massive traction!
The 1/8 scale are the F1 cars of the model world!
