    Retrimming recaro seats

Got the chance to buy some Recaro seats, passenger side bolster needs recovering. I can only really get them to fit the style of my car if i got them re trimmed in a black leather or vinyl. Has anyone got any experience of what this would cost or know someone who does. don't know why the word RECARO is all weird on the cloth in the photo, i'v not seen them for real yet. thanks.

Just bought some RS Turbo recaros myself and will be looking to get them retrimmed in leather the same as you are. Any decent place should be able to get all the parts for you (including seat badges and trim) - just as an example, this is a guy local to the north east who does that kind of thing... it might give you an idea on price/finish you can expect:

(especially take a look at the gallery section and the two mkiv/v Escort seats he's done)

Mr Tee those seats look the business. Heres two i had retrimmed a few years ago. it cost €350 which was cheap as chips, however I supplied the vinyl, it was an ebay bargain, 10sq meters for €50.

you have to take the backrest apart as there is an r clip that stops the headrest rods from coming out

Try Optimise Automotive from Newcastle they specialise in classic mini but will do anything, they gave me a quote for a pair of bucket seats, I think it was around £495.00 the pair any colour combo.
