REAR AXLE QUESTION

ANY RALLY BOYS OUT THERE ??? I THINK I WAS TOLD ONCE THAT THE AXLE (OR DIFF PROBELY ) ?? FROM A P100 PICK UP WILL FIT INTO AN ESCORT. THE RATIO IS 4.6 IS THIS RIGHT , ALSO IS IT TRUE ABOUT AN EARLY TRANSIT AS WELL ??

I may be wrong but wasn't the P100 axle along with the transit based on an atlas axle/ if so then the diff should fit.

I do know that the halfshafts and hubs are different on a P100 though, they have bigger/stronger shafts and 5 stud hubs.

Get a transit twin wheel axle on the back of your mk1 or 2 go round corners like on rails lol

Sierra type P100 has a 4.63 CWP that will catagorically fit an Atlas, been using them for years........
Cortina P100 has a 4.44 which is halfway between English and Atlas CWP in size, and fits no other axle except the one it comes out of!!!
