could standard english axles take the punishment of high powered pinto in a rally car?

theres been a lot of debate about this, i think the general opinion is they will run up to 200bhp as long as you have a LSD and not to much grip.

Ford must have used the atlas for a reason though, its heavier and more expensive, so they must have felt the english wasnt strong enough for rally cars.

Running 280bhp on slicks with no probs, its all in the assembly
