Looks good Will be interesting to see the outcome of who will be the scalemodeling challenge champ!!
I took my Savage and my m8 had his T-maxx down at a localish BMX track, 2 hrs blasting about. Best fun I've had with it so far, was even managing some pretty good jumps
Was getting to grips with using throttle and brake in mid air to get good landings, but not all the time though some serious barrel rolls. A credit to the durability of trucks in general after the abuse they both got today.
This place in surry looks good too, mmmmm 12ft high banked corner.
Can you find one near Rugby popup?
well i have to say that was the most fun ive had for a long time! lost a couple of R clips and my body shell is definately looking worse for wear now! that crossover jump is wicked, it seems bigger in real life than it looks in the photo I have a new respect for what a battering these trucks will take now.
gave the truck a going over this morning cos im going over the farm weith me mates later, broken another bumper, back one this time though, and ive had to use a fair bit of thread lock! lol
Heres a panoramic shot of the track from the rostrum for anyone whos interestred.
That looks superb!! What sort of money do they charge for you to use it?

until they get all the timing gear in there are no official races there, so its £5 every sunday for just general mayhem around the track! lol
Check out the site i posted the link to thats in surrey mate, i noticed in their forum, they have a thread about other areas with tracks, you might fins somewhere near you in there.
Cheers, will do when the site comes backup.
Popup - did you notice the RC track behind the bogs and coffee van at North Wealds ?
I saw it last time I came down there for a little drifting in The Gimp !!
the guy at the Raleigh one has just bought all the equipment from the one at the airfield, the guy who ran it has retired, its still undecided if it will open there again, but if it does, it wont be till the Raliegh one is well established.
See, i know everyfing me.
this site has lots of racing information plus lots of hints and tips. if you can find it through the crap nav menus though..
This was put up on the Forum for the track by the owner today, ideal oppertunity for any locals to come try the track? i think im gonna try and get there for the afternoon.
Thought i'd let you know guys, that as we don't have our proper rostrum in place yet, i won't be charging for bashing this sunday . The peg board will be in operation, and will be STRICTLY enforced. If you don't wish to use our ''pikey'' rostrum , you don't have to. NO R/C's will be run in the parking area at all, and all driving/running of trucks/buggys will be done behind the track fence. I would like to remind you that you will be present at your own risk! Liability forms MUST be completed before you can use the track and will be available. If we have trouble with frequency clashes or hogging of frequencys we will be sharing them on a time basis, i.e 1 hour intervals. That way everyone gets to have a go and hopefully enjoys themselves in the process. We are still building the track, and therefore not all the facilities are available just yet i.e Burger van and trackside shop. Bring your own packed lunch if you like, or there is a macdonalds and kfc quite close, just please use the bins provided around the car park and track areas.
Think that just about covers it. See you sunday!
