Re: which nitro truck
you gotta make your own mind up really, do you know what your gonna do with it?
Bash round cars parks and fields?
take it over the really rough stuff?
go racing on a proper track?
do massive jumps and crash a lot?
buy lots of flash alluminium and bling parts?
theres a lot of trucks for that money, so it helps narrow it down if you know exactly what you want.
The other thing to bear in mind, go to your nearest hobby shop and see what parts theyve got most of on the shelf (probably T maxx), whatever you buy, it WILL break if you play with it properly, so being able to buy a £5 part of the shelf is far better than waiting for 6 weeks for it to be shipped in.

Re: which nitro truck
Apparently, they look like exact copies of OFNA trucks, which are rated quite highly in the States, but i couldnt find anyone who actually owned one to get any feedback from. so i dunno how tough they are or how well the handle.

Re: which nitro truck
the only bit of info ive found out, is from a guy i sweden, he said,
"From what I've heard (regarding the single engined MegaLith/Titan) it is pretty much bulletproof...almost everything is made of alu... "
so there ya go, id be tempted by the twin, but not as a first nitro car, it really is hard enough tuning one engine let alone two! lol

Re: which nitro truck
popuptoaster, the Megalith looks exactly like the Ofna Titan Twin...... http://ofna.com/titanTwin.html
And as has been said Hong Nor is the manufacture and in the USA they are rebadged as Ofna and in the UK as Ho Boa and in Europe as Jamara.
The Titan Twin was a limited production of 500 hence the lack of response, but Ofna (Hong Nor) are producing them again as there is demand for them.
There is also the Titan which is a single engined truck and I think exactly the same except for the 2 engines on the Twin and a few extra's.
There is a web site just for the Titan trucks.............. http://www.titanforums.com/index.php
The Titan twin is available from a Hong Kong dealer, when they get the stock from Hong Nor!!
http://shopping.rcmodel.com.hk/produ...333554ba24a41b
And it is just $500 (£290) plus $102 shipping a total of $602 or £346 a lot less than the UK or US prices!!
