Small hole top mounts what are my options

Been out and bought some nice rubber mounted spherical bearing top mounts from race lovely bit of kit come to fit and hadn't realised mine are the small hole type !!!! So hopefully they will have them back .
So what are my options for small hole types as I carnt seem to find any of the above for small hole and from what I've read the solid type are a bit harsh for road use so what are my options can they be converted to take a spherical bearing or does anyone know of a manufacture for them with sperical bearings , bearings have gone in my originals and jump on the springs as well as being very stiff as they do

Solid alloy type only I'm afraid, you can mount them with rubber between to help dampen a bit, Compbrake to decent ones.

Or is it possible to just holesaw the hole bigger and re drill them to accept the bigger top mounts .
And what size should the hole be for the bigger top mounts

Yes you can do that, off the top of my head large hole top bolts have a pcd of 134mm but double check first.

Just make the hole bigger - I've done this a few times
Line up the bigger mounts centrally and cut the minimum size hole to fit the top mounts
It's a few years since I've done it, but I think the bigger hole goes through the middle of the original bolts holes, if that makes sense

    Fab so we have
    Small hole 111mm pcd
    Big hole 134mm pcd

Have been looking at a few old threads on this and as gavinr has said going to go for a 110 mm hole which should end up through the middle ish of the original holes still leavening a bit of metal unless anyone disagrees .
Or if someone has there car apart to a repair panel handy they wouldn't mind measuring the hole for me thanks

Going to go with 108mm which with the spreading washers I'm using should end up perfect on the edge as well as leavening I know minimal more metal there for strength and as there's more choice in hole saws for 108mm than 110mm lol
Which will leave me a 4 1/4" inch hole as I've read else where is the correct size I think either would do really but with the washers I'm using they won't be over the edge now which will look better

Re: Small hole top mounts what are my options

Many years ago I successfully fitted roller bearing top mounts to a small hole RS2000 without modifying the inner wings. I had a 10mm thick alloy spacer made to sandwich between the two. Countersunk holes and socket head screws secured the spacer to the top mount and on a slightly different PCD, I fitted captive studs to match the inner wing holes. The spacer was even black anodised for good measure and worked well and looked spot on. The 10mm spacer was enough to allow the slightly tapered tower of the top mount to clear the hole. The thickness of the spacer also made very little difference to the ride height.

how about trying something different nissan 200sx arftermarket 2 piece top mounts .these have a huge amount of camber adjustment and only need a little bit of fetteling to match small hole pcd about 10 min with a die grinder.they are all over ebay for sale and are well made and fairly cheap.
