I had a mate who had a t595 and he loved it. Can't remember him having any problems. Sounded ruff as though but that was what they sounded like because they are triples!! Took some getting used to. They were quick enough and seemed to handle. He used to do quite a few trips from Cornwall to London and he never complained about the riding position!! Must have been alright??

A friend of mine had one. Can't remember if it was a 595 or a 955,but they're basically the same. They only changed the name cos people thought the 595 was a 600cc (well you would)
I know he loved it to bits tho'

    Re: Triumph T595 / 955i anyone had experience ?

There definately was a factory recall for a frame problem. I believe some people did well out of this as when they sent their bike back, triumph uprated their ecu at the same time!!
I think this only affected te really early models, but don't quote me on it

Re: Triumph T595 , oops, bought one :)

    Bought it

its totally gorgeous, and immaculate I went out for a little test ride this evening, and it goes like stink, loads of torque, but still revs to 12k and what a great noise its only done 9k ish too, its had all the recalls, the latest ECU program and was a bargain as well, I'm pretty excited about it, nice to have a british bike as well, but i am a little gutted about having to sell my blade, but i cant have both

    piccies of my new toy

    what do ya reckon ?

well nice mate. Have to say the only experince i have is off my mates bike silver 955i. Threw him off twice for no reason. However i wasn`t with him so that his excuse Very nice bike, shame them back ends take a lot of machining to fit most other bikes, thats why everyone uses vfr 750 ones.

    poxy hunk of crap !!!

I have just got in seriously pi$$ed off went over my mates tonight on the trumpet, parked it up on his drive was in his house for about 3 hours, came out started the bike up, turned round to say good bye to him and his other half, as i turned round again, i just saw the bike slowly glide foward and fall off the stand (engine vibrations must have made it ) ran and got hold off the bar end but i just went with it as it fell away from me result - smashed mirror in half, broke clutch lever in half, smashed indicator, broke pass footpeg off (my other half was with me as pillion ) scuffed bar end, and scratched the whole side of the bike right through the daytona decals , I have now put it in the garage as it has rather scrubbed off that new bike excitement, and I'm seriously fooked off

it was great fun till then shame it only lasted 24 hours

    Bugger, Glyn

    Sorry to hear that m8

Similar thing happened with my ZZR1100.
I had it painted in Candy Blue from new.Picked it up from the shop, rode round my parents to show the old man and it fell over taking a 10p sized chip out of the faring

    Trumpet upgrades

thought I would dig my original post out

I'm loving this bike so much now I have done about 3k so far now on it and it just keeps getting better, it's so much better than the blade i had before

I have fitted a triumph high level race can to it this afternoon, and previously fitted the crash bungs (hopefully wont be using them pray: ) so it's almost there now, just got to sort the number plate and holder out, and I'm probably going to polish just the outer edge of the wheels

    Cheers Glyn
